In addition to journalistic enterprises, I’m committed to several fiction and non-fiction projects. My essay, “Have Chef’s Knife Will Travel: ‘Italian Night’ in the Sonoran Desert,” was published by the quarterly magazine, Tin House, Vol. 3, No.1. That same year, my radio essay, “White Girl in Miami,” aired on WLRN-FM, an NPR affiliate. Excerpts from my novel, GLITTERBOX, were published in Gulf Stream: New Voices From Miami (2003) and in Hacks: 10 Years On Grub Street (2007). I’m currently polishing my second novel, THE SPIRIT WRESTLERS, and welcome all serious queries from agents, interlopers, and thrill seekers. Last but not least, I’m a proud founding member and contributor to Beyond The Margins, a blog about the craft of writing. |
