Travel Sketches

When I travel, I often keep an artist’s notepad, watercolors, and fine-tipped black pens tucked inside my bag of tricks. Rather than just snapping photos, I’m occasionally inspired to combine images with words to capture a feeling of place. I like to think that they need each other, these small drawings and their accompanying paragraphs, to tell one complete tale. Click on image to see full story.
